Douglas Rothstein founded Redstone Partners in 2005 to help founders build management teams for their technology start-ups and to assist venture capital funds in recruiting Partners and Principals to effectively deal source and deploy capital.
Doug is a 20+ year veteran in the executive recruiting industry having started his career at Heidrick & Struggles in 1998 where he helped establish the Worldwide Private Equity Practice and was an active member of the International Technology Practice. He has successfully completed searches for a variety of start-ups including Warby Parker, Blue Apron, KidBox, Wix, Roc Nation and many others in addition to placing investment professionals at Venrock, Bessemer, Atlas (Accomplice), Volition and General Catalyst to name a few.
Doug graduated from the University of Manitoba and has an MBA from Boston College. When not busy recruiting, Doug can be found playing ice hockey or cheering on his favorite NHL team, the Winnipeg Jets.
Doug assists graduating MBA's internationally with their career decisions. He is a National Ambassador of the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science (ACWIS), one of the world's premier scientific research institutions.
